Florida summers are hot, bright until 8:30, and stormy most afternoons. So we set the 4K projector, big screen, and a console up inside, living rooms, garages, bonus rooms, clubhouses. Air conditioning, no bugs, a dark room any time of day. From $449, full setup and teardown included.
Why shade wins here
Open sun is the enemy of a good picture.
A projector needs shade and a dark surface to look its best, and a Florida afternoon gives you neither. Set up indoors or under cover and you fix the heat, the glare, the bugs, and the rain in one move.
The sun stays up late
In June and July, Tampa’s sunset is around 8:30 and it isn’t truly dark until close to 9. A backyard movie can’t really start until then, rough for a kids’ party or a school-night event. Indoors, we black out the room and start whenever you want, even mid-afternoon.
Heat and humidity
Summer evenings still sit in the mid-80s with heavy humidity well after sunset. Guests wilt, and the gear runs hot. An air-conditioned living room or clubhouse keeps everyone comfortable start to finish.
Afternoon storms
From June through September, Tampa gets near-daily afternoon and evening thunderstorms. Booking outside in rainy season is a coin flip. Indoors, the forecast doesn’t matter, your date is locked.
Bugs and love bugs
Mosquitoes at dusk and love-bug swarms in May and September make sitting outside a chore. Four walls and AC solve it.

Rooms that work for indoor movie nights
If it has room for a couch and an 8-foot ceiling, it usually works. Here's where we set up most often.
Living rooms & great rooms
The most common indoor setup. A 100-120 inch screen fits most living rooms with an 8-foot ceiling. We push furniture back and set up in about an hour.
Garages
Clear the cars and a two-car garage becomes a private theater. Concrete floor, easy to darken, and great for teen and gaming nights.
Bonus rooms & lofts
Upstairs bonus rooms are ideal, they’re usually already dim and away from the front-door traffic.
HOA & community clubhouses
For bigger groups we run the larger screen in a clubhouse or amenity room. Popular for neighborhood family nights and 55+ community events.
Covered patios, lanais & canopies
You do not need four walls, just shade. A covered patio, screened lanai, carport, or a canopy we bring keeps the sun and rain off the screen. Cooler and glare-free, with fans instead of AC. Best in the late afternoon or evening.

Book NowEvery indoor package includes delivery, setup, and teardown across the Tampa area. A $100 deposit holds your date. Rooms vary, so we bring a smaller screen when 200 inches won't fit and save the full 200-inch screen for garages, bonus rooms, and open great rooms.

Kids’ sleepover birthdays
Little kids can’t stay up for a 9pm outdoor start. Indoors you run an afternoon or early-evening show, then roll straight into the sleepover. Pajamas, pillows, and a movie that starts before bedtime.
Rainy-day backup
Booked a covered patio and the radar turns ugly? We can move the same setup fully inside instead of rescheduling. Ask about it when you book.
Corporate & office nights
Rain-proof, climate-controlled, and no daylight to fight. A reliable choice for team events and client screenings.
Daytime events
Baby showers, watch parties, and kids’ events that run midday only work indoors, you can’t darken a backyard at noon.
The setup
Indoors is actually easier.
A living room is a better room for a projector than a backyard, darker, no wind, no dew, wall power. Here's what that means for your night.
- A darker room means a brighter, sharper picture, blackout is far easier indoors than in a backyard.
- We use short-throw-friendly placement, so the projector fits normal room depths.
- Wall power only, no generator and no long extension runs across a yard.
- Setup and teardown run about 45-90 minutes, same as outdoors, and it’s included.
