Backyard Movie Night
Rental in Tampa
A 4K screen, real sound, and the whole setup handled, so your backyard turns into a cinema after dark. We build it, weight it down, and clean it up. You pick the movie. Serving Westchase, Tampa, Odessa, Oldsmar, and South Tampa.
What you are booking
The backyard cinema, brought to you.
A backyard movie night is the easiest way to turn an ordinary evening into something people remember. We have run 213 events around Tampa Bay since 2018, from small family nights to a 180-guest neighborhood screening in Westchase, and the setup is always the same promise: you provide the yard, we provide the cinema.
Because a screen only looks its best in real darkness, open-air backyard nights suit later starts and the cooler months. When the Florida heat, glare, or afternoon storms would ruin an outdoor show, we set the same 4K gear up under a covered patio or indoors instead, so the night still happens. Not sure which fits your date? We will tell you straight.
What's included
Everything for the night, in one rental
No projector to rent, no screen to rig, no cables to fight. We bring the whole kit and run it for you.
4K projector
The Nebula X1 Pro throws a sharp, bright picture once the sky goes dark. Same projector we run indoors.
A screen sized to your yard
Up to a 200-inch picture for big crowds, or a smaller screen for a patio or a tight yard. We match it to the space.
Real sound
A proper speaker setup, not a phone dock. Everyone hears the movie, not just the front row.
Setup and teardown
We arrive early, build it, weight it down, and haul it all away after. You just pick the movie.
How it runs
From your first call to a clean yard
Tell us the date and the yard
Give us your street and roughly how many people. We check the calendar and the forecast for that night.
We quote it
Open-air backyard nights are available by request and quoted per event, since screen size, crowd, and season all move the number. A $100 deposit holds the date.
Setup night-of
We roll in 60 to 90 minutes early, set the screen and sound, and dial in the picture as the sun drops.
You host, we clean up
Watch your movie. When it ends we break it all down and clear out. Free reschedule if the weather turns.
Florida honesty
Too hot for the open yard? We have a shade plan.
In peak summer the yard is bright until 8:30 and stormy most afternoons. Rather than gamble on the weather, a lot of families move the same big-screen setup under a covered patio or indoors (cooler, glare-free, rain-proof), then go back outside once the season cools off.
We run both. Tell us your date and we will point you to the setup that will actually look good that night.

Backyard movie night questions
How much does a backyard movie night rental cost?
Open-air backyard nights are available by request and quoted per event. Price depends on screen size, guest count, and the season, so call or send a message and we will give you a straight number for your date. A $100 deposit holds it.
When can we actually start the movie outside?
A backyard screen needs real darkness. In a Tampa summer that is close to 9pm, so open-air nights suit later starts and the cooler fall-to-spring months best. If you need an earlier or afternoon start, we set the same gear up indoors or under a covered patio instead.
What if it rains?
Florida afternoons storm often in the summer. We watch the forecast and offer a free reschedule, and in many cases we can move the same setup indoors or under cover so your night still happens.
How big a yard do I need?
For the 200-inch screen we want a flat area around 12 by 12 feet. Smaller yards and patios work fine with a 120-inch screen. We weight everything with sandbags on grass, pavers, or concrete.
Which areas do you cover?
We are based in Westchase and set up across Tampa, Odessa, Oldsmar, and South Tampa with no travel fee within 25 miles of Westchase. Farther out, just ask.
